Review of Away We Go (2009) by Luke M — 03 Sep 2010
Sam Mendes pulls together a superb cast to create a wonderfully sweet story about a quirky couple dealing with the anxiety of the impending birth of their first child. John Krasinski (The Office) and Maya Rudolph (SNL) travel across America, looking for a place to settle. The hilarious nut-jobs they encounter on the journey make this oddball duo look like the most well adjusted couple on the planet.
Heartfelt and honest, this spunky little film will have you chuckling throughout. There's also a number of scenes that will have you busting out loud in uncontrollable laughter.
