Review of Away We Go (2009) by Stephanie C — 15 Nov 2010
Sweet, sensitive, and quirky film about two people in love who get pregnant and are deserted by their family all at once. Having no geographical ties for the time being, they do the most logical thing imaginable - travel around the country visiting old friends and relatives, believing naively that they'll find a great home for their new family.
They experience a bittersweet yet humorous disillusionment at nearly every turn, which reinforces the strength of their own quixotic bond.
