Review of Away We Go (2009) by Lindsey J — 12 Dec 2010
I loved this film. The story took a while to get going, but eventually reveals itself as a tale of two parents-to-be trying to find their identity and place in the world. They meet various family members and old friends along the way who open their eyes to the differences in people's attitudes, behaviours, and the way they raise their children; even those who appear to have idyllic lives can still be "f**k ups".
Some very funny moments, some truly awful characters, and a lovely, gentle pace.
