Review of Away We Go (2009) by Jeff D — 07 Jan 2012
Sam Mendes proves yet again why he's the most overrated director in the world. Away We Go is pretentious hipster garbage that tries to be a touching comedy. Characters are so quirky and over the top that it becomes tedious to watch their idiotic journey to find a place to live.
By the end of the movie you end up hoping Maya Rudolph gets an abortion just to save the unborn child from beards and indie music.
