Review of Away We Go (2009) by Jerome S — 20 Mar 2010
Overall a very good film. It's one of those reflective, slow pieces that you just have to soak in. It's sometimes funny, sometimes sad, and sometimes thoughtful. No single part of the film particularly stands out, but overall it holds up well.
Best part? I expected Krasinski and Rudolph to be incredibly annoying. Krasinski as "Jim" on the Office is an increasingly annoying character and Rudolph was awful on SNL. However, they both do very well during the film and are not at all distracting. In fact, their characters work quite well.
