Review of Away from Her (2007) by Andrew W — 25 Mar 2008

The movie def had a strong impact on me, but more in terms of what I thought about (imagining myself in their situation, etc) than because of any strong performance or story. in fact, the more I think about it, the less impressed I am with the film.

i'm not sure it was that strong overall. I was hoping for better performances and a more subtle, nuanced story. but oh well, it's still a good movie.
