Review of Away from Her (2007) by Corey B — 22 May 2009
A charming yet accurate film about Alzheimer's and dementia. A close aunt of mine did of dementia. Sad that it is another Canadian film that wont see the time of day but at least unlike others this did get some recognition.
A very well done and charming film, I just watched a movie where Julie Christie was pretty young in and seeing her at this age, life has done her well in age. Couples could only wish to be as happy as these two before Alzheimer's came around.
