Review of Away from Her (2007) by Jeff S — 04 Dec 2011

Now, in defence of this movie, my dad WAS blasting the Leafs/Sharks hockey game in the next room and that definitely detracted from the overall atmosphere of the film. But this movie was still a disappointment, suffering from bad writing and worse music.

The acting was excellent, though, and the depressing nature of this man and woman's fading relationship was heartbreaking and painful to witness. I REALLY think more could have been done with the premise; it's a pity.
