Review of Awakenings (1990) by Jens T — 02 May 2010
A very touching film. I both hate and love Robin Williams -- love him because he always manages to really portray his characters so well (he is, in my opinion, typecast for a damn good reason) and make you feel hopeful about humankind, but hate him because he makes me feel so cheesy and induces the "awwww" factor in me.
I always seem to become such a sap when I watch his films!
