Review of Awakenings (1990) by Peter P — 16 Jan 2012
Robert DeNiro and Robin Williams both give great performances in this movie based on the true story of a group of catatonic patients who all of a sudden wake up after being given a new drug. This works on a couple of levels, looking at it from the patients and the doctors viewpoints, and then what rights people have to control their own destiny.
All in all it is a pretty good movie.
