Review of Awake (2007) by Doctor S — 13 Apr 2010
Unimpressive medical mystery/thriller with a halfway interesting (albeit highly risky and unlikely to succeed) scheme to cash in on some insurance money. Darth Vader still can't act without a breath mask and Alba's miscast, although here's your chance to hear her drop a few unconvincing F-bombs.
Not the worst of its kind - 'Pathology' springboards to mind to claim that dishonor - and watchable for stretches, but would make a better episode of 'Grey's Anatomy.' Doesn't last much longer than one either.
