Awake was a dissapointment. The first problem I had with this movie is that it was so slow getting started. A half an hour into the movie, I wondered if I could stay "awake". Hayden Christensen plays a real rich and healthy looking young man who needs a heart transplant.
His mother doesn't like his girlfriend/fiancee/wife. Terrance Howard is the good friend/doctor who is going to perform the heart transplant surgery. But instead, there are several doctors/nurses who are going to give Christensen's character a bad heart so that he will die and they will all get rich.
Oh, by the way, terrible acting too!
