Oh dear or Dear Oh dear.
When I first watched this a few years ago I thought, Mmm it's not THAT Bad? Well you know what? After a 2nd viewing it IS!!! (watched the extended version).
I've been reading about how bad part 2 is, well it must be bad if people are saying this is better. Sure there are some cool moments but they are few and far between. Almost every human character in the movie is a waste of screen time and it's such a crime that Lance Henriksen did not get much to do here. He says in the DVD commentary that this was one of his fave shoots, well no wonder, he had f all to do.
The last 20 mins of the movie are what really kill it though, the bit with Sanaa Lathan running side by side with the Pred just makes me want to hurl, oh and you can't help but laugh at the Pred giving her that Spear but leaving her in the middle of the Antarctic with nothing more than a bloody snowplough to get home, what makes it so funny is she does not seem to bother, like she just lives down the road.
Oh and don't get me started on the total lack of any blood unless it's green.
AVP? Should stand for Ass Vs Penis, because if you watch this then you'll feel ass humped of your time after it's done.
