If you expected a continuation of Alien or Predator ( which I actually haven't seen yet), then you'll be sorely disappointed. The characters are all pretty much bad excuses for keeping the movie on earth.
All of them are just plain stupid. " Hey, there's a giant 2,000 foot drilled into the ice that wasn't here yesterday, nobody's got that kind of technology. What the heck, let's go climb down there".
Other than that + 1.5 stars for the cool effects and Predator weaponry.
