Review of AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004) by Jaime R — 05 Feb 2014
I want to explain that I already have disliked film adaptations of video games, and there are no exceptions. I only believe effects are what made it well, because the effects were quite pleasing, but under the weak direction of Paul W.
S. Anderson, we will expect a film without too much of a story and more of a style-over-substance scenario, with annoying characters we do not care for in the end, and the only good thing about it were the effects.
If you are going to look up more filmmakers with the last name "Anderson", go for Paul THOMAS Anderson or WES Anderson. They have made better films than this trash.
