Review of AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004) by C.j. O — 10 Mar 2015
I enjoyed AVP. Mostly because of the xenomorphs. The pros of the film: Good special effects, OK battle scenes, OK story, some parts built good suspense, a character based on Bishop the android from Aliens, and a pretty good chase scene between the queen alien and the lady.
Cons: The Bishop-based character's role had some unnecessary elements, some special effects are clearly for 3D movies, the slow-motion part were unneeded, and the ending left the story hanging by introducing a new creature, which good Alien and Predator movies do NOT do! But I enjoyed it enough.
Not a movie I would watch again very soon.
