Review of AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004) by Alex K — 13 May 2017
I think this was an underrated movie. It had recognizable cast, more or less unique setting and brought some nice and recognizable bits and pieces from the beloved universes, like Weyland logo (without Yutani in this timeline), Mr Weyland played by Lanse Henriksen himself, and other things.
The major weakness of this movie is that it's PG13 which makes it look like a comic book movie a bit. There isn't the stench sense of doom that was felt in Predator movie when heroes found the creature's victims or shocking terror from Alien films. It's all rather sterile and thus underwhelming. But never the less, it's a nice movie that is okay.
