Review of AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004) by Petros T — 02 Jul 2017
The acting is pretty crappy, although to be honest there's not much of it. And of course in comparison to the first three Alien films and the first Predator this is obviously far behind. Still, judging by the most recent at that time entries in both franchises, "AVP" is hands down a revitalization.
The background story is inspired and far from obvious, whereas the trapping of the humans in the maze-like pyramid and the fights between the titular monsters do well enough in the suspense front.
