This poor man?s copy of Alien vs. Predator left a lot to be desired. The effects are the best thing about the movie. Since the effects are little more than average that isn?t really a great compliment. The plot is pretty basic, but I give it credit for trying to establish some character development. The music didn?t help the movie at all. It would have actually improved things if it weren?t there at all to be truthful. I wasn?t particularly impressed with any of the acting in the film either. As I said at the start, this was a D-level toss out copy of a big budget Science Fiction production. It had a few moments of unintentional humor, but other than that this wasn?t worth the time it took to view it..

What I thought was going to be a simple film aimed at children turned out to be an interesting and intelligent Science Fiction story. I like the story it tells and the twists it throws at the viewer at the end. The characters it creates are excellent and interesting. The actors bring those characters out very well. The child actors particularly did great with their characters. The special effects are also very good. The only problem I found with the plot was the rather abrupt departure of the government agents at the end. Somehow I just don?t see the government witnessing the amazing display that takes place at the end and just shrugging its shoulders and walking away. The soundtrack isn?t too bad but nothing about it really stood out to me. This was a surprisingly well done Science Fiction release that seemed to get ignored during its run in the theaters..
