Review of Avenging Angelo (2002) by Joe F — 22 Apr 2009
Not what I expected - more a romantic comedy than an action flick. Once I stopped expecting action, what I had was a "mob" comedy that tried harder than it had to in order to be funny. Stallone's comic timing is actually what makes this worth a watch or two.
Madeliene Stowe looks good, as always, but several of her scenes come across as over-acted. Just a bit. On the whole, not a bad date movie.
