Review of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Brian C — 02 Jan 2016
Enjoyable, good humoured fun. Again, Whedon gives all the characters something to do, some good one liners, and some character moments to add a bit of depth. The action delivers well enough, but can drag on a bit.
James Spader delivers a menacing and quirky voice performance for Ultron. However, something felt off, maybe the pacing or the weight of keeping everything together, I'm not sure. Happy Whedon is gone for the next 2 Avengers though.
After what the Russo brothers brought for the Winter Soldier, I'm anxious to see what they bring to Cap 3 and Avengers 3 & 4.
