Louder and larger than the first film, "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" works hard under its weight of multiple plot lines and Marvel cinema characters to stay off the ground and fly at top speed. Ultron's ultimate evil scheme is familiar, but you're watching this for the big huge fun summer ride that it is.
It is not a stand-alone adventure, however, and demands your previous fandom from the earlier films.
