Review of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Zachary M — 29 Aug 2016
As someone who was never a comic fan boy nor someone who was a devout follower of the "Marvel Universe" I feel confident in saying anything I review about this will be from a very non-biased perspective. And here it is.
Well the movie certainly has some good action as well as fun little character moments, but the film itself just seems to drag from plot point to plot point with no real rhyme or reason. Also the villain, Ultron, is definitely a weak point. I've heard even super fans of these films didn't like him, there for I can only imagine how they feel. But it's not about what they feel it's about what I feel, and I feel like Ultron comes across that guy who took one semester of philosophy in community college and now he thinks he knows how the world works. Your main villain shouldn't come off like something even the Power Rangers would reject for being too one note.
All in all, nothing will be too disheartening for most to prevent them getting some enjoyment, but let's just hope they try better next time, please.
