Review of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Xhaosis — 02 May 2015
I think over a decade and a half of marvel pumping out real life comic cartoons has finally come to a head when it comes to entertainment. I know the movie was a action movie, but it has to be one of the shallowest marvel movies I have seen in a long time, the First Hulk movie, may have been a good comparison. the heavy was pretty uninspiring the script was down right corny to me. The movie, just never pulled me in, thru the action or the acting. Not to mention this movie was borderline rated G, definitely made for people under the age of 10 years old I am afraid. This movie was made more for children and less for adults, borderline Disney movie. Nothing close to the last X-men, movie etc. Very carebearish movie.
Good to take the kids to, but if your an adult and even a fan of the Avengers, comics, don't have great expectation, lower your standards and it will be a nice waste of time.
Since my kids will be adults by the time the next Avengers, comes out this will be my last avengers movie I goto the theater to see.
