Review of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Jacob — 22 May 2015
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is big, loud, dumb, and meaty giving comicbook fans a giant steak to chew on. Unfortunately, while it tastes good at the time it doesn’t have much lasting appeal. The film throws so much at the audience in regards to action, characters, and story that it is too much to take in causing everything to cancel everything out and create a forgettable film.
I’m not saying the Avengers didn’t have moments the parts of the film where it slowed down and had character moments and had external conflict the film was enjoyable; but all that is lost under the excessive story and action.
Nothing is given time to sink in because we need to move on to the next big thing. While I was entertained by the film it lacks, any rewatch value, lasting appeal, or anything that could stick in my head.
By trying to do so much The Avengers Age of Ultron winds up so forgettable.
