Review of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Rebecca31 — 08 Nov 2015
I swear on all that is mighty that I will never, ever let myself get excited for another damn marvel movie ever again. Every time I do I'm set up for a massive fall. Ya hear me Joss Whedan? You messed up big time, get out of this movie genre before it kills you.
(For anyone who thought this movie was better than the first one I suggest you stop reading now as I'm likely to offend). A film with such promise, such good character development by some, how it managed to become an utter mess of explosions and robots is beyond me.
Looks like they used Man of Steel as a reference point for the fight scenes and destruction of the entire city. The interaction between the characters was one of the better things in the movie but was hindered by the overwhelming amount of people.
James Spader was a spot on choice, if there's one thing the Avenger films get right is the choice of villain. Definitely worth a watch but I never want to see it again.
