Review of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Calvin E — 04 Dec 2015
I enjoy the SH movies...but this one...felt like a long and boring story. I couldn't even tell you what it was about. I rented it for my kids to watch second time and I found it unwatchable. There are CGI sequences that looked really bad.
The opening one for sure - didn't even look like good video game animation. And the Hulkbuster fight scene - WHY do they spend millions on CGI and then make it move so fast that you can't appreciate the movements of the characters or the detail of their CGI models? Glad they are swtiching directors and hope the writing kicks up a notch.
Oh yeah, and James Spader's voice, that was bad choice. Any voice actor hack with robot sound effects would have worked better than having to hear his voice. Dissappointed, but from the trailers, I was prepared that I wouldn't like this one.
