9/17/16 This is a very strong action film. I know the Avengers, but I did not see the original film before watching this one--- which I regret now. I know all the "heroes", but it took me some time to understand the bad guys and their motivations.
Some of the "science" jargon was difficult to comprehend (after all, Intelligent, talking/walking robots don't really exist yet). The effects were really good, and there are some unique aspects to the action scenes.
Good balance of action to story in my opinion too. Strong action film.
