Review of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Dufflad — 15 May 2015
There is no way to mess up the Avengers. Though the sequel doesn't hold up as well as the original, it still had some solid action and a couple jokes that were funny. In terms of the jokes, this movie really only has one running one with Captain America that gets old by the end.
Though the story is far from the comic book version, Marvel studios did a god job of making it still make sense. I really didn't like the forced Hollywood formula crap in this movie with the two love stories going on (Hawkeye/his wife, Hulk/Natasha) I think what was really great about the original Avengers was that it didn't follow Hollywood formula much, but Age of Ultron does and if the 3rd of the series is even more Hollywood then it'll be the last Avengers I see.
I enjoy super hero movies, but not when they become overly saturated.
