Review of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Josh F — 22 Dec 2015

The stakes are higher, just as bombastic and exciting as they've ever been, the Avengers re-Assemble in style, even if the film struggles to hold up to the unbelievably high expectations set by its predecessor.

Muddled in what seems to have been a collection of plot threads and ideas that could have used the extra hour (time that was apparently left on the cutting room floor), what we're left with is huge set-up and a very lukewarm payoff, unfortunately.

Nonetheless, Age of Ultron is a fun, blockbuster action filled time, despite its shortcomings into sequelitis.
