Like many have said before, this is simply an amusement park ride turned 3-hour-film; it doesn't pass any serious test. Plot-holes galore, ridiculous villains, cliched beats... And terrible third act, awful contrived ending.
It's a shame, because the technical effort and the beautiful themes deserved better, but I felt like I was watching a videogame demo or a mid-tier sci-fi tv show where the writing didn't matter.
