Not much matters from the first movie. it's a new experience which looks amazing but get dragged down due to the silly story.
Sadly, instead of expanding and improving Avatar the movie just doubles down on action and drops any attempts at an interesting story.
Can't stress enough how beautiful it is and how amazing is the advancements in CG but it doesn't make this movie any less boring or shorter.
