If you liked any of Cameron's earlier films, T2, Titanic, True Lies, The Abyss, you will like A2. The movie is crafted for people who like movies and like seeing films in theaters. There's a lot to look at.
Eventually it builds to a long third act, several action scenarios stacked up. I found it less New Age cringy than A1. It's more grounded in emotions and ethnography of the two Navi tribes. The themes of eco-connection, tolerance and community belonging remain timely.
Fans of Horizon Forbidden West will see more spectacular woven architecture.
