Review of Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) by Thejaywhip — 18 Dec 2022
James Cameron continues his record of being the most overrated director in existence. If you ever see “written by James Cameron” run far far away. The guy can’t create a decent plot to save his life.
The real heroes of the movie are the actors and cgi team who worked countless hours to deliver James Cameron’s half baked version of the cats musical in the FernGully Rain forest. Cameron constantly borrows and stitches together ideas that have already been done, and done much better I might add in their originals counterparts.
Cameron is becoming more and more like George Lucas…where no one is speaking up to tell him he is past his prime. Sure make an almost 3.5 hour movie about nothing. Totally the people will love being bored out of their minds.
