The movie visually is something to enamour at, but story-wise, character-wise and what was going on within ht movie, including the climax and conflict, felt very generic. If it wasn't an Avatar movie, this wouldn't even be recognized by any studio.
There a moments of levity as you'd expect, but what Cameron chose to bring forth to us was sort of a letdown even from what a lot of straight-to-dvd disney sequels bring to the table. But all in all, it's a swift time.
It has it's wonder, and enamourment. That's it's strength. But it's a miss in giving us something truly emotional or scarce. Not much was achieved on either side in the end.
