James Cameron's breathtaking sci-fi epic spectacle is a phenomenal achievement. The captivating tale of the Na'vi a peaceful alien race of blue-skinned 12 foot tall giants with golden eyes, who's planet Pandora is the only known source of a very special mineral that can save the Earth.

Now the Na'vi must fight for their survival against Earth's aerial hi-tech armies of Marines, that will stop at nothing to possess the mineral. A stunning array of technical wizardry and innovation by Cameron and his team, who invented a new revolutionary breakthrough 3D-process for this epic that has to be seen to be believed.

Extraordinary Oscar winning cinematography by Mauro Fiore, and brilliant Oscar winning Art direction by Nick Bassett, Robert Bavin and Robert Bavin. The eye-popping Oscar winning CGI visual effects are absolutely peerless.

Exceptional performances by Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Sigourney Weaver as Grace, Zoe Saldana as Neyiri, Michelle Rodriquez as Trudy Chacon, Giovanni Ribisi as Parker Selfridge, CCH Pounder as Moat, and Wes Studi as Eytukan, with special kudos to Stephen Lang who delivers a brilliant standout performance as the truly hateful villain, Marine Col.

Miles Quaritch. There is a wonderfully lush score by the late great James Horner. By all means see this film in " 3D" Imax to fully appreciate James Cameron's technical marvel and the best film of 2009.

Note: "Avatar" sinks "Titanic" 13-year-old record of $1.8 billion and tops $2.7 Billion and counting at the worldwide box office and is now the highest grossing film in cinematic history! Nominated for 9 Academy Awards including Best Director: James Cameron, and Best Picture.
