Review of Avatar (2009) by Kyle C — 30 Jul 2014
This movie is visually stunning, just emotionally uninvolving.
Let me explain. I could get into the visuals, easily. They are absolutely amazing to watch. However, just because it's pretty doesn't always make it interesting. As in I can't remember a THING about any of these characters. There is so much time spent on the breathtaking visuals that it takes away from making this movie emotionally involving, well that and a clique environmental message thrown in for good measure.
Don't get more wrong, I do like this movie. It is very pretty to look at and the action scenes at the end were great. I guess was just expected a little bit more.
