Review of Avatar (2009) by Rex A — 29 Jun 2014
I don't know what it is about James Cameron, but I find his directorial style very unattractive and consider his big, record-shattering blockbusters like Titanic some of the most overrated films of all time.
Avatar is no exception. It looks pretty, but the plot is hilariously lazy and unoriginal. Why does everyone think this is such a great story? Also, I have issues with any movie that expects us to root against THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE.
