Review of Avatar (2009) by Enoc I — 11 Jul 2014
Avatar is a special effects marvel and is truly impressive. This is really the sort of movie that should be watched in 3-D and on the largest screen possible. However, the film suffers severely in the story department. The script is littered with cliches and is extremely predictable. Not only that, but the films environmental story has been done to death by this point. It is also pretty insulting to the audiences intelligence, it resorts to using stereotypes instead of real characters with the whole military aspect of the film.
Overall, this movie focuses far to much on the special effects. Leaving us with a dull, senseless story.
