A great movie. Good story, breathtaking visuals, and a meaningful viewing experience. But, typically, Mirimax butchered the American release. Sloppy edited, cutting and additions that really mutilated the original.
And who has the GUAL to do DUBtitles anymore? This version of the film is still enjoyable (it's really hard to wreck a good Oshii film, and this is one of his best) but it is not all that it could be.
Look for the Region 0 version.
