Review of Autumn in New York (2000) by The Critic ( — 08 Apr 2012
It's hard to empathise with Richard Gere's shallow, self-centred character and understand why the lovely Winona Ryder would devote so much time to him in this visually stunning picture whose screenplay opts for mushy melodrama over sentimental solidity.
A case of being so bad it's good.
