Review of Automaton Transfusion (2008) by Anthony F — 09 Mar 2008

Good Lord. It's like, I realize this is an indie horror film, but holy fuck, there wasn't much to compliment here. I think the best part of the film was the makeup. The only scene worth watching is where a zombie rips a baby out of woman's womb and eats it.

(It's fucking hilarious, trust me.) Everything else was just plain sad. Whatever camera they used was balls, the script seemed like it was written on a napkin, with the writer/director circling all the lines he thought were especially awesome.

(Such as the Oscar-worthy, "I wanna ram a chainsaw through his FACE!") Oh, and I guess I can't forget to mention the Halo 2-style abrupt ending--.
