Review of Auto Focus (2002) by Jeff B — 09 Jun 2007
The beauty behind this film is the way Greg Kinnear handles someone as clueless and shallow as Crane. It is from a time when the VCR and home video equipment were new and only available to a very select few.
I am a sucker for the docudrama and the Bob Crane story always facinated me since I was a kid. There is a morality tale here, very accuratley capturing the mood and the feel of the 1970's. A very under appreciated gem from 2003.
