I loved this film! I actually once had the fortune of meeting the lovely and talented Laura Albert, as I once did her makeup for a book reading event she did in Seattle. She was nothing short of gracious, kind, brilliant and professional and full of life and zest.

She is such a creative person, the kind of creative that rarely exists. This movie was so honest and I am astounded with how raw and real it is. She really is giving us all the info, she is holding nothing back.

Anything she held back before she is more than making up for. I admire how she has held her head high and braved this all too cruel world. She is beautiful and magnetic and is a true and rare soul, and if you see this movie, you will realize how unique she is and how refreshing it is to be in the presence of someone so truthful.

And non-pretentious. Too many people these days only do what's safe and what's expected; and Laura Albert is the polar opposite and her film explains who she truly is and always was. Gifted, misunderstood, fascinating and breathtaking.
