Far too long, with too many endings. The different sections of the film were so well done as to have been better as stand-alones. I really liked the 30s feel of the opening and closing graphics, titles, etc; it led into the time period setting quite nicely.
It was just too long for a single movie. This movie may have tried to be epic, but it didn't make it.
