Review of Australia (2008) by Flaviana S — 26 Dec 2010
I expected much more from this film and when I'm disappointed I get harsh. So I'm giving it 3 stars just for:
1) The 'Hugh Jackman washing himself' scene;.
2) The amazing little actor;.
3) Some of the photography.
Nicole Kidman's performance is really banal (I've seen her in exactly the same role in Far & Away), the movie seems to merge 4 different (boring) stories together and the only emotion in the whole film is at the end of it.
It is an epic indeed - an epic FAIL!
