Really hated the first half an hour of this film and almost stopped watching but I'm glad I stuck with it as it improved greatly. Some aspects of it were good (story had its moments, bombing of Darwin was impressive, and I never tire of watching Hugh Jackman.
..) but overall I felt it was a good story swamped by stupid directorial/editorial decisions and too long a running time. Verdict =disappointing but not rubbish.
