This film left me with very conflicting feelings. Overall, I thought the movie was visually interesting, but was extremely slow moving. I really enjoyed the first hour and a half the most during the western like plot.
After that, however, I felt the film became too much like a cheap romance novel. This film just lacks that certain something that made Moulin Rouge! so wonderful. On a final note, the editors of People magazine must have seen this film prior to putting out their list ofthe sexiest men alive.
Hugh Jackmas was hottt.
