Review of Australia (2008) by Arthur G — 10 Jul 2012
I hate Nicole Kidman's character in this movie. She is retarded. I hated her freaking out in the begining with the lugage used to beat up a dude. Then her saying "Oh the Kangoroo's!" she sounded like a f***ing dumb f**k.
I think the acting is horrible. It's far fetched on diolouge and there were to many glamorous moments on Hugh Jackman showing off his hunky mussles for appeal and eye candy. I really understand why this didn't go through the critics very well.
I feel like the only person that was good was David Wenham's character Flecher. He was the only that did really good. Now I really think the story is good but the script's writing is very poor with horrible diolauge and a predictable ending.
I think it's to goofy to be serious to be very honest. I will admit I didn't hate all of it. I felt some dramatic parts that went well but it wasn't the best drama I have seen. This movie has a lot of flaws and a lot of isssues with this movie which I so far didn't like about this movie.
Also why I don't like this is because all Jackman and Kidman do throughout this movie is fight but in the end they fall in love. Wow how original. Let me say one thing about this movie, this epic is an epic alright, an EPIC FAIL! Ok another thing I noticed about this movie is that there are very childish moments in such a "mature" movie.
I didn't really like this movie to be quite honest.
