Just came back from the cinema after seeing Australia and boy did it feel underwhelming. Just the title of the film felt like it promised so much, but once it got going, it woefully underachieved - in my humble opinion.
I think USA Today's Claudia Puig sums the film up perfectly, "Australia is ambitious more than awe-inspiring, grandiose rather than grand, full of spectacle but not spectacular.".
